Dr. Brian Costello (r), Chairman of the International Council of Integrative Medicine (ICIM) from Pearcedale, Australia, receives a briefing on the Academy’s many academic programs from Dr. A.G. Applin, the United States Sports Academy’s Dean of Undergraduate Studies. Of interest to Dr. Costello are the Academy’s programs in sports fitness and sports medicine, which have a curriculum that is very closely aligned with the mission of the ICIM. Dr. Costello believes the Academy’s certification programs would be popular in Australia through online education. ICIM is a tax exempt, non-profit institution whose mission embraces Mainstream and Complementary medicine in harmony without using "Alternative" medicine. ICIM liaison projects encourage independent, democratic scholarship, but do not accredit former qualifications. ICIM fosters professional and public awareness to support research through replicable scientific experimental design. ICIM understands the role sports play in integrative medicine.

For over 31 years I have practised clinical psychology and am registered by the State Victorian Psychologists Board in two specialties: Clinical Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychology (Certificate No 1435). Additionally, the ABPS diplomates are held in Neuropsychology and Psychological Disabilities Evaluation.

My clinic is situated at the Ibis Lodge Pearcedale Victoria Australia. Cassel Research Centre (Publishing) was established in 1987 for software R&D and computerised biofeedback; ongoing since 1979.
